Has anyone else noticed that Vlad has walked 45 times in just 261 at-bats? He's only struck out 28 times, too. He'll pass last year's walk total in the next two weeks. Hell, he's only 39 away from his career high.

Chris Young has 10 strikeouts of Red Sox.

11 K's now. I'm watching this guy, and the more I do, the more I realize how ridiculous it is to suggest he didn't deliberately throw at Lee. This guy has absolute pinpoint control, nothing gets away from him, and certainly not up high. He was no-hitting the Cubs when it happened, and it just so happens he "loses it" against our superstar?

Absolutely ridiculous. Young is a damn fine pitcher, and he head hunted Lee without any doubt whatsoever.

Yup. I had no doubt about that right when it happened. Like you said, Young is a very good pitcher and fastballs just don't get away from good pitchers. It's one thing with a curve/slider/splitter/etc. to get away from a pitcher. But decent pitchers don't lose control of their fastball.
