It's great to see all the ridiculous people eat crow. All the negativity is gone. Not surprising with Cubs fans.

What?!?!? The majority of people that wanted and still want Zambrano traded was due to the fact of his contract status and the Cubs ownership status.

There is no need for poeple to "eat crow". It seems that all you do around here is drop in radomly to threads to critque other posters. It is quite annoying.

Calm yourself. He's referring to the people who were saying Z sucks. There was plenty of that around for a while.

And for the first 2 months or so of the season all those people were right, Z sucked. I still find it odd as hell that the guy pitched so terrible, and then he declares its a "new season" and starts pitching like Cy Freaking Young. Weird.

My only point was you'd think after 4 full and great seasons (great ERA+), people wouldn't turn on Z for struggling for 2 months. You'd think he'd get a little more time. He's one of my favorite Cubs, and I didn't like seeing that. That's all.

and i didn't like seeing him lay a gigantic egg for the first two months of the season, throwing huge fits all the while and punching people in the face.

i'm glad he's doing well now, but he was one of, if not the, reason the cubs fell so far out of the race.

He definitely was not 'the' reason the cubs fell so far out of the race. And it's not even close to 'poor offensive execution' as the main reason as to why this team is so far behind.

Or a part of our less-than-impressive bullpen.

Well they were just wrong, I think most people (including myself) thought his best long term value to the Cubs would be in a trade for big time prospects.

His early slump just made people go FACK we can't get a Salty or Brandon Wood or w/e.

He definitely was a part of the reason they are so far out of the race. If Z pitches like the supposed ace that he is, we are probably between 3-4 games closer to first place.
