I'm guessing that Zambrano was holding Giles belt not his own. What Zambrano was trying to do by taking off Giles belt is always going to be a mystery though.

If he wanted to throw at someone to protect David fat boy Wells feelings after Soriano rocked that fat boy he should have thrown at Sori's ribs and dealt with whatever repercussions followed, instead he threw up and in on a guy that had nothing to do with it cause he thought he'd get away with it. HE IS A PUD.

While funny, Z wasn't whipping anyone with his belt. He said in the postgame press conference that he had been changing his uniform, like he typically does every three innings, and was in the process of getting dressed when he ran out.

I heard this on another board, so take it for what it's worth:

 

Well, the news is coming out. A fan called in and apparently he heard exactly what the Cubs radio team thought they heard.

so on suspensions. most recent incident I remember like this was Arod-Veritek. both got four games and for whatever reason they dropped their suspensions.

 

I'm think Lee will get at least 8 games, and it won't be reduced by more than a game or two.

 

Young will get five games, he'll drop his appeal right before an off day, so noone on the Pads will have to go on short rest. essentially turning it into a nonspension.
