I'm so pumped that I get to watch the cubs play Weaver tomorrow, live.

I hope they absolutely annihilate him. I want to watch a blowout. I've never witnessed a blowout live.

I went to the cubs/ red sox game where the cubs destroyed the red sox. It was certainly fun times.

That was my most anticipated series in 2005. First the BoSox came to Wrigley.

First 2 games, Cubs won. Owned them. Then Wakefield owned the Cubs the third game. Only Lee could hit him... But I remember there were called strikes on knuckleballs that hit the dirt. It was whack.

My first ever game at Wrigley that I was old enough to remember was the 20-1 annihilation of the Dodgers in 2001.

I have seen one. Was at Rich Hill's first-ever win last year, where we scored 7 in the first 3 innings. It was so much more fun not having to constantly worry about whether the Cubs were going to win and be able to have some fun.

Exactly what i'm hoping for. Every game I have ever gone to we have either won by like 1 or 2 or lost by 1 or 2. Case in point, the two games I have been to this year:

April 9 (opening day): Astros 5 Cubs 3

April 15 (Jackie Robinson day) Reds 1 Cubs 0

The first game I ever went to was Sept 18, 1999. The game when sosa hit his 60th hr for the second year in a row. We lost 7-4.

The last game I went to prior to this year, was a walkoff win against the brewers. Todd Hollandsworth had a walkoff single in the bottom of the 9th.

I have been to TWO 14 inning games and one 12 inning game.

I'm all about the close games :(

I was at that game, too! IIRC, it was Wood's return from the DL, and he pitched pretty dang well.

I witnessed a 20-3 annihilation of the Dodgers on the day before Kenny Holtzman was to report for active duty in the Illinois National Guard. That was in late may of 1967, I think.

I witnessed the 11 run inning or something against the Cardinals in 2004...it was awesome Big Z even beat out an infield single to prolong the inning. i also have seen a 15-5 Florida win over the cubs in 2005....the 04 game was a blast cuz of the blowout

I was at this game as well. My only walkoff win that I've been to.

The only extra-inning game I've witnessed was the one against SD in 04 where Froemming jobbed us on a DP call at 2nd base and Nomar hit a go-ahead homer in the 7th which sent the crowd into hysterics.

me four. broken bat single ala Luis Gonzalez.

Wood was smoking. gun said low-mid 90's, but was throwing a heavy heavy ball that just exploded into the catchers mitt.
