I feel more comfortable with Dempster closing than with just about any other reliever in the pen. An argument could be made for Wuertz, but Dempster has been solid overall.

He's done a good job this year in the position and is 12/14. Should I not be? You want them to move him to the rotation or something and put someone else in the role?

So why did his velocity suddenly go up during the middle of that supposed overworking? It would make sense for it to start going down, but instead, it has gotten better over that stretch. Plus his arm troubles that everyone thought for sure he was injured earlier in the season doesn't look like an injury now.
