It's a good feeling to finally be gaining some ground on the Brew Crew. 8-)

A's/Giants just ended, and apparently Bengie Molina and then Eliezer Alfonso, the two catchers, both had to leave the game with injuries, forcing several guys into emergency positions for the first time in their careers:

 

- Pedro Feliz moved from third base to catcher

- Randy Winn moved from center field to third base

- Dan Ortmeier moved from right field to center field

 

And my favorite part, the San Francisco bench was devoid of position players by this point, so pitcher Noah Lowry had to come into the game to play right field. I don't know about anyone else, but I love seeing nutty emergency stuff like that.
