So far, in the two earlier games, the highlights are a Jake Fox solo HR (Tenn up 1-0 in the 2nd) and Tyler Colvin at 2/2 (Daytona up 5-0 after 2).

Tennessee lost 10-3. All of the offense was from the two solo shots by Fox and the solo shot by Kroeger. Berg was roughed up for 7 runs in 5 innings and Mendez gave up 3 in 2 and 1/3.

Daytona won 7-5. Downs picked up the win in relief. He gave up 2 unearned runs and struck out 4 in 2 and 2/3's. Layden picked up his 3rd save of the season as he struck out 3 of the 4 batters he faced. Colvin was 3/5 with a double and two RBI's. Amador was 3/5 with a triple, a stolen base, and an RBI. Robinson Chirinos also had three hits tonight. Every position player had at least one hit except Dopirak, who went 0/4 with 3 strikeouts...

Iowa just beat New Orleans, 9-6. Walrond gave up 4 runs in 7 and Henderson gave up the other 2 in just 1/3 of an inning. Piggy, Bailey, and Clay Rapada (who picked up his 9th save) shut down New Orleans for the final inning and 2/3's. Soto and Richie each hit HR's. Soto also had a double. EPatt and Fontenot were each 2/5. Hoffpauir doubled as well.

Peoria down 6-4 in the 8th. That game is currently being delayed due to rain.

I wish they would just release Dope already. Norwood's been looking great here in Peoria, and he needs to be back in Daytona.

Alessandro Maestri back in relief :D

Starting him was worth a try, but this seems to suit him much better.
