Today's Tribune has speculation that the White Sox might be able to get Aaron Rowand in a deal centered around McDougal (if the Phillies think they can straighten him out). We have plenty of crappy (I'm sorry, relief pitchers having off years) relief pitchers to send the Phillies that are as bad (or good) as McDougal. Howry plus Murton for Rowand, trade Jones for anything, DFA Eyre, and bring up Pie. Nothing earthshattering there, but it would make the team better. Soriano in LF, Pie in CF, Rowand in RF sounds better offensively and defensively.

He's having a much better year than I thought he would be. I wouldn't be against landing him, but I'd rather it be a Jones+Reliever package.
