I hope zambrano whoops Murton. Where are all the Murton lovers now? freakin morons

I'm right here dude. I've been here the whole time.

He's still the 2nd best OF on the team.

No one likes you.

2nd best OF lol. Fans like you are content with below average players. Only a below average player misplayed that ball

Wait, only below average players make errors? That's an asinine statement, just like the rest of the trash you spew.

Unfortunately he is the 2nd best.

We dated a few times and only messed around once, so I don't appreciate the "moron" comment.

I thought you were done with this team? please go away.

ohh noess...I just got smacked down by locykey's eye scar! OH NOES!

I was talking about synergy... OH NOES

That sun is a killer. Its tough. Give Murton a break. He has red hair.

I know, why wasn't Floyd playing today? It's way to hot for a white guy to be out there.

wow, that's classy.

What happened? Just got back to my desk. The Cubs needed Murton to play regularly and play well, he's not playing regularly and he's not playing well either. He's looked pretty poor out in the field.

It's been said before, but that just reiterates the point the Cubs don't have a single OF playing where he should be playing. And they've got a couple guys on the infield who aren't ideal for their position either.

Lee and Ramirez are the only everyday players playing where they belong everyday.

Regardless if he plays once a year. A MLB player should be able to catch a routine fly ball.

Yeah, he should.

But playing out of position and dealing with the sun made that far from routine for Murton.

Right. The Sun. He's been playing baseball his whole life under the lights.

I forgot that no one had ever lost a ball in the sun before.

I actually wonder if Theriot lost it first and told Matt.

Pop quiz hotshot. How many players went the entirety of last season without an error? I'd be willing to be the farm far more than half made errors, so making one doesn't necessarily make a person a below average player.

Thanks for playing, but we have a fabulous consolation prize for you... what is it John?

Barrett sucks. He swings at nothing but junk.

Its time to move on from this guy.

He's the Jacque Jones of this season with more errors. Due to the fact that we already have a Jones on the team, time to part ways.

It looked like he lost it and saw it again too late to me. I've done that before when this 2B is thrust into LF/RF.

There's a lot of crap on this team that we need to part ways with.

Given the way everybody has been struggling, are you really going to imply that he had a perfect line of sight on the baseball at all times?

He saw it well enough he thought he could make a play. He was wrong. But that doesn't mean he saw the ball just fine. And given the problems people have been having with the sun, I'd say it's fair to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Agreed. I'd start with everyone. regardless of position, age, or production.

A fresh start would be sweet.
