How did Cotts do?

 

He pitches tonight.

 

So Cotts is going to start? That's a very interesting development to this whole 5th starter saga.

I did read in one of the articles about sending Cotts down (maybe it was the one on cubs.com) that he is going to start. Maybe that's just to give the Cubs a fallback option rather than definitely starting him when he comes back up.

Adam Rosales:

Pitch 2: ball up and in, almost hit him

Pitch 3: line drive triple to center. Amador makes a diving attempt but can't come up with it. :(

 

Daniel Dorn:

Pitch 1: ball

Pitch 2: fouled back

Pitch 3: RBI double to left, 1-0 Sarasota :(

 

Carson Kainer:

Pitch 1: called strike

Pitch 2: called strike

Pitch 3: strike 3 swinging! 1 down.

 

Craig Tatum:

ERA is back up to 5.76 though. Maybe he'll have more success now that he's focusing on pitching and not posting his pitch log online as he's pitching.
