Why does everyone think Z is hurt? Why can't we just admit that he sucks at the beginning of the year, like last year, and he doesn't seem to be able to figure out what he needs to do to pitch better? He's a headcase and he always has been, I don't think injuries have anything to do with it.

 

He has a history of back injuries (which are chronic) and his weight is an issue.

 

His BB/9 is getting much, much worse, something thas happened right before a major elbow injury to a few players.

 

He's been dropping down a lot when he pitches, something someone with a bum shoulder might do to avoid hurting it even more.

 

His stuff isn't as good or as sharp as it has been in the past.

At this point I'd be absolutely jacked beyond belief to get a wildcard.
