Figures. The most destructive coaching tenure in sports history happens to the Cubs. Has any manager been responsible for destroying 3 potential Hall of Famers before? And is this justification for every one of us to get a free punch at Dusty?

3 good pitchers. I definitely wouldn't call any of them HOF pitchers.

I think Wood and Prior definitely had HOF potential. I don't think Zambrano was ever that good.

I think you are underestimating Z big time.

Ok didn't know the rules and I apologize for personal attack. Sorry to all who read my post with the derogatory word "dickwad."

You've got more to apologize for than that, son.

I'll agree with Wood and Prior on potential. But even if they were healthy, they sure weren't locks.

If I thought they were locks, I would have said surefire HOFers and not potential HOFers

Zambrano is still out there? Ahahah, Lou is napping.

He's at 107 pitches. 120 pitch count seems to be in order today.

Nah...this game is lost..he figures Z is going on the DL...needs to save the pen for the rest of the trip.

Who was that middle reliever Lou let give up like 12 homers to the Yankees in one inning?

Might as well save the bullpen and just let Zambrano's arm fall all the way off.

He's had reasonable pitch counts all year long and he looks pretty darn strong this inning.
