oooooohhhhhhhhhhh he played good last year.....let's keep on playing him then, he played great last year! who cares if he is absolutely turd in the OF and can't hit past the infield. Let's play him everyday! The Red Sox dumped him because he is a light-hitting OF who can't play anything else besides LF. Ask any Red Sox scout.

Hey, guess what player ranked immediately behind Murton in GB/FB ratio last year in all the NL?

Jacque Jones. I guess he becomes a light hitting OF too... since your only qualification for that seems to be that he "can't hit past the infield."

And his arm is too inaccurate to be a RF and his range is too poor to be a CF. That pretty much means he can't play anything else besides LF. Just ask any Twins scout.

Christ! Andy Van Slyke just came out of nowhere and hit a triple off the leftfield wall. Bonilla is on deck.

And next up is their skinny CF, Bobby's kid.

Every OF regularly takes balls at every single OF position in practice.

Practice? What are you talking about practice for? Is this before or after finals week? Seriously, practice? Taking a couple balls off the bat of a coach doesn't come close to the same effect of actually playing the position in games.

The fact is the morons running the Cubs have an OF that's completely flip-flopped from the one they spent all spring practicing.

Oh, and I see Dammit continues to own the Cubs. That guy is unstoppable.

This argument would play a lot better if Jacque didn't hit around 25 HR a year, and play RF almost exclusively his last two years in Minnesota.
