Yeah, I understand the frustration but when a guy can't get anything over the plate sometimes he'll just throw a meatball up there on the first pitch to try and get strike 1. It's a valid approach, IMO. Barrett's just really off right now.

 

With the way Barrett is struggling it would be all the more reason for him to lay off. Snell still has to come in two more times. IMO you keep making him work, meatball or not. I know there are divergent views on the subject both with valid points I would just prefer that you take a pitch.
