Samardzija got hit pretty hard (10 H in 5.1 IP), but he managed to only get tagged with 3 R and 2 ER. The D-Cubs game is currently tied at 3 at the top of the 7th.

Daytona lost 5-3 on a walkoff in the bottom of the 9th. Grant Johnson gave it up.

 

Peoria up 2-0 in the 3rd. Camp and Joseph with RBI singles.

 

Iowa up 1-0 in the 3rd. Hoffpauir had a 2-out RBI single scoring Chris Walker, who already has a single in his first game at Iowa.
