third pitch to Eckstein called a strike four times against the Cubs today, called a ball twice to him.

 

offense has been sad guys, but this subtle ball/strike BS that's been so prevalent over the beginning of this season is killing us.

 

Just because you keep repeating it doesn't make it true.

 

The Cubs lack of success is their own damn fault, quit with the excuses.

Odds don't swing, they are always the same.

 

but yeah, our record in close games is pretty fluky.

BOOYAH! Just found out I got the internship I wanted this summer. Now if the Cubs can win itll be a great day.

 

Don't hold your breath, you'd be better off the ignore the game and be content with the internship.

Murton sucks, Barrett has to stay on the bench in case Blanco is hurt and Pie needs to possibly pinch run later...

I love how people are judging Murton on just a few ABs. And I also love how people are already clamoring for Pie to become a PR guy only already.

 

you are reading in to this way too much... I know it's early but you have to admit Murton has looked AWFUL

.267/.333 in 33 PA's isnt AWFUL.
