Really hate Nashville. They can't beat San Jose playing hockey, so now they are trying to win by goonery. I guess they are about as classy as their coach.

Edmonton won by playing physical and clean, Nashville has decided to try that, except without the clean part.

Wild trail again to the Ducks, 1-0 at the end of 1...come on Minny...do something...

The WILD are killing me. I really thought it would be different in St. Paul.

As a Canucks fan I was more afraid of facing the Wild than any other team in the West. I'd be very happy to see them go.

yeah, the wild and sharks really impressed me going down the stretch. i'm shocked to see them doing this poorly.

they're down 3-0 in the series now. they did finally score with 30 seconds left, though.

nucks/stars scoreless through one, the game started on time too.

today is the game three for SJ/Nashville, TB/NJ, and NYI/Buffalo.

I hope the sharks game has OT or something since I'll end up missing most of it...

I'll be able to watch a good portion of the first two games though.

Ouch. Islanders just picked up a penalty with 1:34 left in the game and they're down 3-2. That's gonna hurt.

Sharks-Predators about to start.

Crap. Nashville scored first though it was a nice goal. Not the start the Sharks wanted at home and unsurprisingly, the crowd is dead right now.

NYR/ATL is on Comcast Hockeylive today. ANH/MIN is on Yahoo.

OTT/PIT is on Versus at 7 EST

NYR/ATL is on at 7 EST

VAN/DAL is at 8 EST, but not on any networks for me (I miss center ice already :()

ANH/MIN is on at 8 EST

CGY/DET is on at 10 EST on Versus

I finally bit the bullet and paid the extra for versus. I also get ESPNnews with this package. Watched a lot of the SJ/Nashville game last night. I really dont think versus is any worse in there coverage than ESPN or NBC. It just sucks that I have to pay extra to get it.

Rangers win 7-0, go up 3-0 in the series

Nylander hat trick

Callahan with 2 goals

Jagr with 4 assists

Avery and Kovalchuk got in a fight with about 16 minutes left, they each received 17 minutes in penalties. That's a pretty sweet deal for the Rangers.

Sens won, go up 3-1 in the series

The Ducks showed what Thugs they are. I want to see Game 6 in St. Paul.

yeah, that's a lineup built around toughness. pretty surprised that they're dressing george parros AND brad may AND travis moen. that's odd for the playoffs. i like that lemaire isn't backing down and is dressing boogie man though.

Calgary had some jump last night.

They scored their last 2 goals because of mistakes by Lidstrom though. I wouldnt be banking my playoff hopes on that.

Yeah, we got some heavy hitters and big fighters. I guess Carlyle wants to play very physical hockey through these playoffs and it's showing.

ugh, care to show up next time atlanta? friggin rags.

I can't stand the Rangers, but I actually would like to see them win this series, if only to bring more attention to hockey. The last time hockey had much pull in this country was the mid-90's, when the Rangers were good. As they and the Blackhawks faded from the scene, so did hockey. Couple that with all the success of expansion teams like Tampa, Carolina and Anaheim, teams that people just don't care about, and I think that added to the demise.

The NHL needs the Rangers, Flyers, Blackhawks, as well as probably Toronto and Montreal to be successful to get back to where it was.

I'd like to see as many Canadian teams do well as possible, and as many bigger market teams do well, if only to draw in more eyes.

If the NYR and NJD advance, the NY media and general fan base is going to respond. If the Islanders did, that would just make it crazy for hockey around here. But Buffalo as the 1 seed is probably just as good. It would be nice to have the star power of Pittsburgh move on, but having a prominent Canadian team like Ottawa won't hurt.

From the west, two California teams will bring attention. And Detroit and Vancouver are good to see as well.

As a Blackhawks fan, there's more than a few teams in the mix that I'd like to see lose. But as a hockey fan, I think it would be good for some of them to win.

What May did was not being physical it was pure thuggery. What he did is pure cowardly. It's funny how they never tried there cheap shots while the Boogey man was on the ice..
