Didn't see this posted anywhere else. Nothing much different than what we've seen, other than the Cubs not getting much respect in the standings predictions and Hill being said to lose his spot in the rotation if/when Prior returns.

Wow, they just throw garbage out there and hope something sticks don't they.

It's too bad whoever the threw out there to do a little "piece", did not do any research what-so-ever.

Soriano in the "middle of the line-up" - NO

Rich Hill being replaced - NO

$300 million payroll - NO

I don't see how so many people can be picking the Astros.

I'm in the same boat.

I see the Cubs' main competition being the Brewers, not the Cardinals, nor the Astros.

I agree completely.

HAhahaha....$300 million payroll.

Exactly. Whoever did this is either stupid or didn't even care. They think Soriano is going to be in the "Middle of the line-up", they think Hill is just some temporary placeholder, they think there is a $300 million payroll.

I quit reading sportsline.com after Dumbass Doyle did his little hate job on Illini fans. Not on the Illini, but on the fans. Their website has been going downhill. It used to be a good site for info and stats, now it's just another commentary site filled with idiots. They should lure away Dayn Perry from Fox Sports and a few of the idiots from ESPN, and they'd have an all-star cast of idiots on their site. It's only a good site if you're hungry for the latest on the teams that all of the bandwagon fans are following.

It's kind of funny that the line-up displayed on the same page has Soriano leading off while the article has him in the middle of the order.

He also mentions "Derrik" Lee in there as well. Whoever that is.

Notice there isn't a tagline. Who wrote this, the CBS mailroom foreman?

What a [expletive] article.
