I do too, but the two other guys I considered there - Pierre and Taveres - have had awful starts. I decided to switch to Taveres because he's already 7 points ahead, and Coors doesn't offer much of an advantage to hitters any more - and especially not to hitters who can't hit the ball more than 150 feet.

Even though there are lots of other options at SS, I still am confident that Adam Everett will be the awful hitter that he's always been.

It's a risk; I just think that he'll get more playing time than Niekro, so he'll have a better opportunity to put up some nice points. 1B is kind of a crapshoot; it's hard to find a 1B that stinks and still gets regular playing time, because most teams have a decent hitter that they can switch to 1B if necessary.

Ramon Ortiz is killing me right now with his hot start... but its more than balanced out by McCarthy. What's really hurting is the lack of plate appearances for Scotty Pods and Chone Figgins.
