Aramis is swinging right now. I'd love to see him and D-Lee get off to a great start of the season.

Seconded

Add Murton to that as well. The kid deserves some respect.

And Barrett isn't half bad either...

...and Theriot...

heck, even Jones/Floyd aren't bad hitters.

I like our lineup!

Agreed. It just seems like one or both D-Lee and Aram get off to slow starts. I hope they can keep this up, we have a bunch of division games right off the bat.

I hope so. Last year Aramis mashed the ball in spring only to get off to that horrendous start. I don't know what was more annoying, the fact that he got off to such a bad start or all of the "he didn't hit when it actually mattered!" grumbling that inevitably followed.

I went to the MLB Media Center schedule to log in and the audio came up right away.

Leadoff walk to Cliff Floyd.

Me too - but it doesn't even give me the opportunity to log in. Just opens the media player and sits there with the MLB logo.

The only thing I can suggest is logging all the way out and restarting your browser. :?

Pagan grounds out, 1-3 I think.

6-1 Cubs through 3

The absence of Lee in the lineup contributed to the slow starts of Aramis and Jones IMO.

nobody answered my theriot question

I'm no expert but I would say that he has plus speed. Above average but not in Pie territory.

Ugh...another guy rambling on about the off$eason.
