New Cubs Wallpaper

First off, let me know if there's another thread that this belongs in, I'm new to the board. I put the cheesy headline in, and then got railed on by my roommate for how stupid he thought it was. Nevertheless, I'll let you guys be the judge. Headline or no? It's formatted for a 1280x768 monitor.

I've only been using photoshop for a few months, so any critiques are appreciated.

Looks better without, IMO.

 

Actually, looks really good without. The big text just looks out of place.

I think the text would be alright in there, but maybe change the size, font and the color?

 

I'd play around with the text until you come up with something that blends with the picture better.

if you put them all in black turtlenecks with figaro chains and then have suge knight in the clouds hanging vanilla ice from the top of wrigley... those would be nice touches to the death row thing. :wink:

I had some wallpaper one time.... it was an aerial shot of Wrigley Field with a beautiful orange sunset in the background. It was in 1028x720 format. I had to have my computer rebuilt and lost it and haven't been able to find it since.

the font sucks. ill suggest digging through here http://1001freefonts.com/ and adding some border around it. I dont know how to do it in photoshop, i do my work in the GIMP.
