hahahahaha, i got kicked back out into the waiting room. unbelievable.

 

luckily i was just trying to get seats for my friend. he already got tickets to the game, but he was looking for better seats.

I started getting through regularly about 30 minutes ago. Got tix, not the best games: 6/14, 6/15, 6/16 (SEA,SD,SD). It was a good time given my work commitments ;)

My younger brother got screwed by the registration on cubs.com he created. Every time he hit submit to finalize an order, it kept on giving him an error. I ended up getting him to log out on cubs.com and then try, which worked. He was able to get the games he was trying for except for the Friday White Sox game, which was sold out by the time he got back through for those.

this is so weird. i got in at 10:25, bought tickets to a saturday in july. the only other thing i wanted was either the friday or the sunday of the same series, so we can just make a weekend of it and that sort of thing. i then got locked in the virtual waiting room from 10:30-1:20. then, at 1:20, i get through. while i'm clicking the thing over and over in an effort to get past the "high transaction volume" thing, i get in again in another window. i decide to better my odds, so i start trying to click through the "high transaction volume" thing there too. then ANOTHER window comes open, so i do it there too. i eventually ended up getting tickets to the sunday game i wanted and a pair to the monday marlins game in may that the girlfriend and i will hopefully go to as well.

 

in the end, i suppose it was a great success.

I count myself as a success this year:

 

4/10 sec 421/row 6 - 4 tix (magnet schedule - I will now have one for every year since 1999)

7/21 sec 434/row 6 - 2 tix (Zambrano bobble head day)

9/23 Bleachers - 3 tickets (Im probably going to sell these)

 

I may try for one more game but I'm running out of extra funds...LOL
