Its day 2 and still no Cubs Pictures...what gives? Are they all out working part time jobs to help pay for Marquis' salary?

I'm looking forward to all the pictures without Neifi Perez and Jose Macias.

Was it opening day that Neifi did that wierd little ball in the glove thing to end the game? Not to be confused with that really cool bunt he did to end one of the games.

Ok, quick question... and maybe there will be photographic proof to support this soon -- but -- my boss told me this morning that she saw a player on the news with long hair down to the shoulder. Any clue who it might be?

I'm not sure it's quite that long, but that's probably Jeff Samardzija, the pitching prospect from ND.

Part of me would like to see Woody with long hair...and as the closer...they could give him glasses with a skull and crossbones in the middle and play wild thing when he came in. I'd chuckle.

Yeah I'm sure that's who she was talking about, and I think it actually is shoulder-length.

I just watched a video on the trib's website, it was Dan Roan's report on WGN, and yes, Samardzija's hair was definitely shoulder length. He had that goofy mop top pulled back and behind his hat, so it hung low.

Now that I think about, it makes sense. "long" hair almost has to be down to the shoulder to be classified that way (I think it starts just a little before shoulder length) and Samardzija's hair is long, although you can't really tell that much when he will have the baseball cap on.

That may have been the Wrigley opener. It was a pop up behind first and he ran it down and put some serious mustard on the hot dog, that much I know for sure.

Yeah, that was probably it now that you mention it.

I was thinking it might be Cotts, but Samardzija makes a lot more sense.

It was Jeff. I watched in interview with him and his hair was out of control. It looks really long hanging out of the back of his hat too.

I love that anecdote about Sosa.

He might want to show up to the Rangers ST on time this year.

Going to need all the time possible to come back and play this year.
