If he has injury problems again (like he has the last 2 odd numbered years) or he fails to hit for his career .325 average (which he didn't in 05), I could see him easily being just a .900-.910 OPS player, which is still great, but takes him out of the elite player status.

pretty sure most elite players get kept for some reason. there are always some picks that turn out great further down in the draft though if you look at previous results.

the #1 pick is important to me as it will determine who I will take with the #2 pick :-).

 

It really sucked having Derrek Lee go down last season, but it was great being able to keep Lee and Ryan Howard and only cost me 145.8 points :-).
