Obviously I have no idea on numbers, but someone I know was given the call, and will be getting season tickets beginning next year. The best part of this? A am getting in for 25% share of the season! \:D/

I'm sure if we really tried, we'd find someone who was selling their season tickets. I see myself buying it from someone else, rather than waiting to get called from the list. It'd probably be worth the money rather than the wait.

I just signed up and am 28509.

I figure by the time I hit the top of the list I'll either have enough money to get them myself or know enough people so that I could sell them off. :)

I just signed up.......28,682.

I'm sitting by my phone.

I signed up in September of '06, and I'm currently number 12,087. I would imagine that a big chunk of the 16,000 people that have singed up since then don't have a big desire to buy season tickets. They probably just wanted to get their name on the list just to have it there.

Does anyone know how many full season ticket packages are available each year? Does it increase or decrease at all or is it a set number year-to-year?

However many people do no renew, that is how many are available.

Right, but what I meant was how many season ticket holders do the Cubs allow there to be? As in, in a sold out game, how many people there are season ticket holders? I guess I could've worded that better.

Season ticket holders are approximately half of the overall capacity. I believe it's just over 20,000.

That's the number I've heard. The season ticket capacity is 20,000.

Of course, I'm waiting for them to add the premium dugout box and bullpen box seats to the season ticket inventory any year now.

If my address and phone # change, but I still keep the same e-mail, will I still be able to get the tickets?

Do you know where your seats are? My friend got to the top of the list a few years ago, but his seats are in the 525ish section. Really crappy. Especially when the sun sets. Every year I just take the day off of work when the single game tickets go on sale and buy up bleacher tickets to all the games I want to go to. MUCH MUCH better than getting season tickets.

Not sure on the details yet, but was told through the grapevine they were lower deck. I have done the tickets.com thing for years as well, and still will, but bear in mind that 5 dollar per ticket sure is a killer when buying a dozen games.
