Keith Foulke-R-Red Sox Dec. 26 - 7:58 pm et

According to his agent, Keith Foulke is close to a one-year deal with a mutual option with the Indians.

Confirming what FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal reported last week. Agent Dan Horwits said a deal could be cemented in the next day or two.

The Indians are really stocking up their pen this offseason. JoeBo, Hernandez, Fultz, and now Foulke. Anyone I forgot?

Solid signing by the Indians. Foulke hasn't pitched regularly since 2004, but that year he posted a 2.17 ERA and 79 k's to only 15 walks. Last year in 44 innings he had a 4.35 ERA but his k:BB was still great at 36 strikeouts to 7 walks.

Quite a good signing for the Tribe really regardless of money since it's a one-year deal.

Do they hate Betancourt? That's 3 RH relievers they've added.

I think they are overstocking because one of the vets might wash out.
