Hester's best returns are when he goes right up the middle with a head of steam. I don't like when he tries to dance outside.

Rex, you are awful. Seriously. I don't understand it. We're nuts if we think this guy can win us a playoff game.

If your line doesn't give a crap enough to get within three feet of a defensive lineman and lets them deflect a pass like that, any QB is going to throw a bunch of interceptions.

He threw that right into the lineman. He could've kept his arms down and it still would've been deflected.

He just barely got it with both arms extended in the air. Brown and Kruetz made absolutely no effort to keep his arms down. Grossman had Davis wide open on the slant, too.

the worst part of this performance is that we're going to get 2 solid weeks of Grossman vs Griese.

I'm more upset about that than the actual performance (which is meaningless).

I know it. That's all we'll hear. On the radio, in the papers, on ESPN.

Wait 'til you hear it if Rex melts down in the first playoff game. :-&

For the record, the whole team sucks tonight. Missed tackles, bad blocking, bad Rex...the only good player has been Benson.

Stupid Rex. Now I can't listen to the radio for at least 2 weeks.

I actually hope Lovie leaves him in for the entire 2nd half. Better to suck tonight than in 2 weeks.

I've never wanted an offensive coordinator to be fired more for a meaningless game than I do now. If the Bears fall behind 7-0 early in the playoffs, his pass-happy playcalling may ruin this team's chances.

Quite frankly, all I care about is Urlacher, Briggs, Vasher, Grossman and Muhsin not playing in the second half.

I want Grossman playing... atleast some.. the rest i agree i dont want to see them either...

Good point. I don't mean to put all the blame on Rex, especially since the entire team has been atrocious. Minus #32 of course.

If Grossman stays in the whole game, there are nothing but positives:

1. He might get back on track and finish strong

2. He might suck so badly that Griese has to start the playoff game

3. God forbid, he might get hurt and not be able to start the playoff game

The only negative is that Griese would be rusty not playing today.

It has already started. Collinsworth just just said in uncertain terms that he would play Griese in the second half and if he does anything, he would start Griese for the playoffs.

Huh?

More rushing attempts than passing attempts thus far.

Agreed. Let him try and work this out now. IF he comes out in the 3rd and gets a couple good drives, I'll bet everyone will feel a lot better.

Of course, watch him put 2 TD's up, cust it to 23-14, and Griese will come in, they'll win, and then all hell will break loose.

15 rushes and 12 passes is pass-happy ?

By John Shoop's standards, maybe.

If any of the vets on this team try to pull that anti-Benson crap next year I'll personally travel to Halas Hall and ring their necks.

Benson has come to play every time he's been called on this year. Tonight he's the only guy who looks like he gives a damn.

That's why Collinsworth isn't a coach. That's a stupid statement.

This is a good point. Lovie can't play Griese now. At least not until (and UNLESS) Grossman can lead a couple solid drives.

Not early. Four passing plays to two runs in the opening two drives. Turner seemingly does this every time. He gets pass-happy until there's a nice run or two, after which he settles down a bit.

Well Lovie's going to start Griese anyway, LOL.

Great. Now I can't read the paper, listen to the radio or watch ESPN or Comcast for the next 2 weeks.
