I should probably point out that column B is fantasy team - so if you unhide that column, you can sort the columns (make sure to choose all of them!) by team name and see your pitchers all grouped. if you have trouble with this let me know.

this actually helps me quite a bit. sheets only went up a little and hill and papelbon are exempt.

It didn't really impact me that much. I have a philosophy against spending too many of my keeper points on pitchers. I much prefer to see who is healthy and looking good in the spring. Hitters are simply more reliable bets.

guys like gary matthews jr. outscored brandon webb last year, so not only are pitchers more likely to get injured, they weren't really worth all that much even if they were healthy AND awesome.

That's what Juan is trying to fix here, but the absolute magnitude of the points isn't even the real issue with me.

When I look at my keepers, I'm assigning probabilities that the individual player will be able to perform commensurate with the cost associated with keeping him. Pitchers are an awful bet on that front because there are so few who are good each and every year.

I can't open it. My excel is screwed up.

Can somebody just tell me the point totals of Santana, Webb, and McCarthy?

will a pdf work?

if anyone else wants the pdf version, email me at jats60@omsoft.com

also FYI, you can cut and paste from sportsline into xcel pretty easily - just use paste special and select text.

I have to admit, I was admiring your handiwork in Excel. Greatest computer program ever invented. I use it for just about everything.

Yeah, PDF would be great.

Heh, why did I think McCarthy had been around 4 years already?

I sure couldn't figure out why you wanted to know his point change. Thought maybe you just wanted to see how much value he added.
