Remember they still play in the NFC. Seattle has laid eggs the last two weeks. New Orleans just lost to Washington. Dallas got killed by New Orleans last week and has been up and down.

what game have you been watching Moose?

 

they have done fine. They aren't the ones getting burned badly by bad receivers and not tackling. The secondary is the problem right now.

You gotta hate how when they lost 4 starters on their defense they just decided to stop trying.

 

Think about the fact that the Bears are short THREE pro bowlers on defense and one of the positions is being filled by a third stringer.

 

Meh. Everyone was obsessing about Tank and Tommie being gone. The line and LBers did fine. The secondary got burned in the second half.

 

Yeah and what is their secondary compared to their ideal secondary?

 

Ideal:

CB - Vasher

CB - Tillman

SS - Brown

FS - Manning

 

Current:

CB - Hester/R. Manning

CB - Tillman

SS - Wesley (third stringer)

FS - D. Manning

 

You can only lose so many pieces before the entire secondary breaks.

The secondary needs to be addressed in the offseason. Vasher, Johnson, and Brown are all out and Peanut is clearly dinged up while the DL is short-handed, but everyone on the field right now has plenty of issues.

A team that has very little to play for has a big lead and gets lazy. *shrug* I'm just not terribly concerned, even if we lose this.

And so two DEs should totally make up for the broken secondary.
