Not necessarily. I don't know the nature of Tupac's wounds, but a brain aneurysm is in the second most vital area of survival. Bullets in your leg, shoulder and places like that are easier to survive.

The shooting that he survived, he was shot five times. Twice in the head, twice in the groin, and the most serious wound was a shot through the hand that entered the thigh, and hit an artery.

 

I honestly have no idea where that stands w/ a brain aneurysm though. I'd have to imagine being shot twice in the head is right up there on the list of things that would suck pretty badly.
