Just saw the story on Chicagosports.com that says prior had to get a second opinion on his arm. Unbelievable.

I'm all for that. I want it far beyond just questioning the man at this point. But almost everyone is responding to the title like Prior is actually hurt again with a new injury.

Was diagnosed with the same thing in college. I had surgery that fused/ tightened my shoulder joint. I just kept having pain and couldn't figure out why. There was no tendinitis, no structural damage. So I went with the surgery.

 

Sounds similar to what Prior is going through.

He's not qualified to comment on it, but you are because he worked on you? 2nd opinions in general are good, why can't he make that comment? Obviously you are swayed by personal bias, which negates your statement more than TT's assumed lack of medical backgroung.

We have 2 years of pretty poor health results, particularly with pitchers. He's the trainer. He shares some of that responsibility.

At least I have experience with the guy, he's not a moron, I can tell you that much. But presuming Prior needs a 2nd opinion because O'neal doesn't know anything is pretty baseless.

So hows the shoulder now?

 

Better, but I"m no longer playing the game. And I didn't have Prior's ability. I was able to come back though with minimal issues.

He's not a magic healer either. Just because a guy gets hurt doesn't mean its the trainer's fault.
