Well this half was pointless to watch. I poll my roommates on what the final score would be at halftime. One guessed 63-0, one guessed 55-3, I went with 47-7. We were all way off (although I was close)

I had always heard that Tillman was not a fast runner. The Tribune today had all of the 40 times for the whole defense and guess who has the lowest time? Yes Tillman at I think a 4.43. Vasher had a 4.44 and someone else was right behind. So if Tillman is so fast, why is he the least talented in the secondary?

 

I was in favor of the Bears going for the TD on the goal-line. It wasn't about the offense though. It was about helping to preserve the shutout because even if they didn't score, they would back the 49ers up.

Just got back from watching this massacre at a nearby sports bar. Looking at the box score, one thing jumped out at me...

Maybe they won't miss Mike Brown as much as we think.

Pretty much.

 

He had a 53 yard gainer in the second half on a play in which the Bears looked like they were sleepwalking.

 

Still, he's a good one.

I agree. I he would of dropped and then picked it up, i bet SF would of wanted a review and gotten it overturned to be a incomplete pass.

 

IF....the Bears beat NYG in 2 weeks that will almost certainly wrap up home field advantage. I know it seems early to talk about it, but its damn realistic.
