Close call for Arod

A private jet carrying Arod and six others overran a runway in California today. Fortunately, an arresting system successfully stopped the plane. Nobody was injured and the plane sustained only minor damage.

Let's just say this isn't the first time a plane has overrun the runway at Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena. It's one of the least safe airports in the country, and they can't expand it because the folks who live nearby whine too much about it.

 

Good thing our SS for next year is safe and sound. :)

They added it at Burbank after a plane couldn't stop in time and kept going, went onto Hollywood Way and stopped at a gas station across the street.

Gas was cheaper there than at the airport.
