Should have been a no call. No harm though he missed the freebie. Lets get a good look here.

I'm not sure why either-but in college basketball, the rule seems to be that if the offensive player makes some move to try to slide by the defender and contact is made that it will be called blocking, and that's what happened there.

Yeah, now that I think about it, a no-call would be a slightly better call-as you said though, it didn't matter with the miss of the free throw.

I hate Rich McBride.

With he exception of a handful of games, he has been nothing but a burden over the past couple seasons.

He might not be, but he was hot in the 1st half-even while very streaky, he's still scary.

right, brock was there all day.

 

umm, okay? I wasn't talking about that play specifically, but just in general I don't get why in basketball sometimes the offensive player can essential body slam a defender who isn't playing aggressive D and end up at the FT line.
