That sequence of Hinrich to Gordon to Wallace to Deng for the dunk was pretty.

Are the Bulls trying to see how quickly they can chuck up shots with a single digit lead and less than 2 minutes left now?

I'm not too pleased at all with the finish of this one. We had an EIGHTEEN point lead and we nearly blew it. That should not happen at all.

Not counting the Knicks games, look at the points allowed by our D in the last seven games: 108, 123, 112, 82, 100, 101, 111. That is brutal and not good for a team that is supposed to have the "best defense in the NBA." It's nice to see the offense doing well lately, but if we want to go anywhere this season, we are going NEED the defense to improve greatly.

I'll take a win in whatever shape and form it comes in after the team looked so bad early on. This team will improve.

Well the Hornets were without 3 of their top 4 scorers as well. Plus we made Rasual Butler look like Kobe out there. Don't get me wrong, I like winning, but the lulls that this team seems to fall into throughout periodical stages during games is pretty annoying.

Good news is that we have an extended homestand coming up where we can make up a ton of ground.

I guess any win on the road is good, but only 4 rebounds for Wallace against that team is disheartening.

There's obviously something wrong with Wallace and the Bulls, and he doesn't look anywhere near the player he was in Detroit.

We almost blew that game, against a team that right now is probably worse than the Knicks with all their injuries. Again----nothing but a couple passes and then a long-range jumper down the stretch. It's not going to work in the long term.

It will be good to see an extended home stand. Maybe they can find themselves a little bit in terms of getting Ben Wallace going more, and finding out if Deng can make up some of that lack of inside scoring (as it looks like Skiles is going to try and push that role for Luol a little bit).

Wallace was fighting a stiff neck, bruised wrist, and a sprained right index finger last night. He was day to day going into the game.

I'm fighting a stubbed toe too but I'm managing.

I believe the Bulls went into last night ranked 26th in the NBA in defensive FG percentage.

That's a joke.

Wow. Just tuned into the game to see the Bulls up 58-35 with 3 minutes left in the half.

Noc caught fire early. BG kept it later. Even TT is playing well. Not a single Bull is playing badly right now.

Me too---been so focused on college football I totally missed this.

Bulls up by 22 now, 66-44.

Luol Deng is becoming a very, very good NBA basketball player.

He's the team's best player this season.

Nocioni's doing quite well for himself too.

Ahhhhh, a laugher on Saturday night. There's nothing like it.

In all fairness though, sounds like the Wizards are really struggling on the road.

Now that the Bulls have gotten their rotations in order and the schedule has gotten a little easier, things are looking up. Team looks really in sync tonight...
