They tried to get the FG team out there?

they tried to get to the line to spike it

I'm pretty sure that was the FG team, I saw a white guy in the backfield and Muhammad and Berrian sprinting off the field.

McKie?

the reason I think it was going to be a spike was I saw a bunch of people doing the spike signal on the field didn't see who was in the backfield. Knowing the way the first half went both the field goal and offensive teams were on the field.

Both D's look excellent

What game are you watching?

Bears vs. Vikings/Refs

Oh please. The horse collar tackle was a bad call, I'll give you that. But what about that weak holding penalty they called on Maurice Mann when Chester had a 9 yard gain on the screen? It was a total no-call (just like the horse collar) but killed the Vikings drive. The off-sides call on Brown was tough to tell, but he got off the ball so damn quick I can see why they threw the flag.

I should have known that if the game was like this you guys would only be complaining about the officials and talking about how you played as bad as possible. Typical Bears stuff.

I guess we're seeing that Rex might not be where everyone thought he was yet. Play a decent defense and have to deal with a little pressure and you've seen what he's done. He should have given up a pick-6 to Sharper too. We'll see how he adjusts. Brad is outplaying him right now.

add in 2 very questionable personal foul penalties on tillman and clark.

Alex Brown made a perfect jump off the line and was called offsides.

Vikes are getting this game handed to them.

Um, how the hell is Brad Johnson outplaying him. He's done very little at all in this game. If anything stupid penalties are killing the Bears and giving the Vikings the lead.

Seriously that's just pathetic. There's nothing worse than a group of fans saying "oh we have to play them and the refs, they're handing the game to the Vikings."

It's not like they've been total game-changing calls and we had a questionable call that took points off the board too. If you were outplaying us and getting a bunch of awful calls it would be different.

You got outplayed in the first half, admit it. We'll see how the second half goes.

Haha calm down man. I don't even agree with that, its been the sentiment of the board overall though. I will give you guys credit you have played better then I expected, but overall this score is more of the Bears playing like idiots then the Vikings playing overly well. Take that ho you want it.

BTW, typical Bears stuff meaning that the Bears are the only team whose fans blame the refs during any close game where teams are heavily penalized? Pretty ignorant to characterize that as "Typical Bears stuff". So I guess the Seahawks and Oklahoma must have taken after us when they threw their temper tantrums after key losses.

Um, 15-18 for 142 and no turnovers compared to 10-20 for 132 and a pick.

You're right he's not outplaying him at all.

Everytime we get a gain, theres a flag...thankfully thats not on us.

I just don't like games where every play is a flag, even if it favors my team its just annoying and ruins the momentum

If anything NEITHER quarterback has done anything big to have it called outplaying each other. I'll give ya Grossman is throwing some stupid passes. But to say Johnson is clearly outplaying Grossman isn't exactly true.

Lovies crappy challenge takes 3 points away from the Bears

he is so very bad at challenges, they need to get someone to do that for him

What was wrong with it? The only replay that Fox ran showed the ball between his legs as he was going down, but you couldn't see when it came out. His team obviously told him that it came out and he challenged it.

How about burning a timeout by not having the right personnel out there for a field goal?

It was clear live, it was clear on the replay, and the bears wouldn't have gotten the ball even if they had called it a fumble.

There was no clear replay. The only one they showed was from behind the runner. And the Bears did recover it.

PUT CEDRIC BENSON IN THE GAME!

PLAY THE BEST PLAYER!

You're a smart man.

I'm not even that big of Benson fan.

I don't think he is that great..but we need a back that can

hit the hole hard and get 3-4 yards every attempt.

Benson can do that better IMO.
