GO HILL! I hope dusty plays Theriot and Murton. Play these guys every damn day!

 

I'm guessing that Murton will be in LF, Pagan in RF, and Theriot at second today along with Cedeno at short. Is it Lee's day off?

Sunday-but he's only supposed to be playing 2 out of 3 right now, or at least that's the plan.

Well, if you see a couple of yahoos tonight waving "terrible towels" from the Pittsburgh Steelers in the bleachers that will be my roommate and friend Zach ... I'll be the one holding my head in my hands immediately next to them.

 

Really need a good outing from Hill tonight.

Hill needs to continue to pitch well.

 

The Cubs need to be swept so they can put some distance between them and the Pirates.

I'm torn. I want Hill to continue to pitch well (this will be the first night I've seen him pitch in quite a while), but I also want that #1 draft pick next year. Hopefully Duke does what he usually does to the Cubs and shuts us out. 1-0 Pirates.

Look how bad Cedeno's batting has become, he's batting behind Hank White.

 

That's how I was on Sunday when Blanco was batting 6th-the horrible thing was, that was the proper spot in the order for him-he was better than the people in the 7th and 8th spots.

Did our first two hitters really just take the first 5 pitches of each at-bat?

 

17 pitch inning - just a little better than the league average I believe.
