Barrett has really struggled since coming back from when Eckstein crashed into him. I wouldn't mind giving him a couple days off-not sure he's 100%. The good thing is, there's not really any pressure on him to have to get hot right away-we can go slowly with him.

Len just said that Felix Pie will be called up.

No he said it will be interesting to see if they call him up.

 

Well, that's what happens when you are only half listening to the game. It sounded like Len thought Pie would be called up at some point in September to get some experience. I would like to see Pie get called up just to see what he can do.

I'd like for Soto to get a start, this is (I believe) his 3rd time up with the Cubs and I don't know that he's even caught a single pitch.
