No word yet on the injury. Unbelievable... Marmol, Marshall, O'Malley, Prior, Wood.

Who's next to be called up??

And when is Marshall slated to return.

Sean had his best rehab start so far today (6 shutout innings) and should be ready to go in the big leagues the next time he starts.

If Sean isn't ready, the Cubs can call up Jerome Williams, Jae-Kuk Ryu or Wade Miller.

O'Malley is such a true Cub pitcher.

Comes up, Enjoys some quick success then gets injured. (See: Wood, Prior, Marshall, Marmol)

There's no truth to the rumor that our minor league pitchers are praying that they don't get called up. Anybody who still doesn't think the Cubs are cursed?

I don't think the Cubs are cursed. pitchers get injured all the time on all teams.

Anyway to blame baker on this for overuse?

Baker should have never allowed him to go 8 innings in his 1st start.

:)

I was thinking the same thing. Dammit Baker ruined another arm. Next!

That may be true, but I can't believe there are too many teams that have led the league in players on the DL for so long.

I wonder what the actual count of people on the DL per team are...and also the amount of starting pitching lost to the DL per team, would be an interesting set of data.
