  1. My wife has a mentally [expletive] sister. She would not usually make that mistake. I'd use stronger language. +++ Everyone needs a sense of humor.
  2. I'll trade you 4 bleacher seats to a game at Busch!
  3. I think the one positive note for the Cubs is that they have had a chance to see a lot of these rookie pitchers. Let's be honest. The season has been over for 3 months. At least they know what they have in the minors. If they let Wood and Prior walk, they will have some money to spend. Not to mention some of the other FA's they have.
  4. What are you talking about? I hate Duke.
  5. The Gateway Grizzlies had a nice team last year. Might be some good competition.
  6. That is all. Carry on.
  7. The Cardinals games always do, but as bad as they are, at least right now, I could see there not being a ton of demand for the first round. (If they get there) Really? I would imagine that the tickets would go very quickly, being that it's the first playoff series in the new stadium. You'd know more about the demand than I would though. No, really I don't know. But gauging the feelings of people down here right now, I wouldn't be as confident in a sellout as I have in the past. However, the "new" stadium is a wildcard in the whole thing.
  8. Zambrono's walk totals have seemed lower as of late.
  9. Don't forget to thank Matt Morris and the Giants!

  11. You buy the seats from the teams, but the prices are "mandated" by MLB. My bleacher seats (Busch) are $12 per seat during the regular season. They'll be $40 or so for the NLDS, $60-$75 for the NLCS and then $100-$150 for the WS...not that I'll have to worry about it either.
  12. I would say there aren't many teams that fair very well when trailing by 5 runs or more after 8 innings.
  13. I agree. If they would have fired him in June/July, you have time for a new manager to come in and establish himself for next year.
