It's only $5 a month. Big Mac, fries and a coke will cost you more than that! And nsbb won't clog your arteries.

$5 a month can feed a starving child in Naperville! 8-[

It's about $4.17.

Haven't taken a math class since spring 2005, and I'm damn proud of it. :)

why are the Cubs under the impression that Bynum is good?

He freakin blows.

b/c he can play multiple positions

and he can catch the ball

And he's fast.

And he comes to play the game.

but can he drive in runs with his glove?

from the looks of this, someone is going to get moved..hopefully rusch. marmol has "shoulder fatigue"...i think they knew a spot would be open again very soon and didn't want to use any of marmols call ups.

of course it might just be until september call ups but i can hope!

anyway we need rusch active and pitching to be able to deal him, hopefully he finally does something good for the cubs and throws well..so someone will want him!

Of course it looks like someone is going to get moved -- 2 people already were (Neifi, Marmol).

nice point einstein...

i think the shoulder fatigue is a phantom injury to allow the cubs to activate rusch and use use an option on marmol knowing that rusch or someone else will be TRADED thus re-opening the spot for marmol.

Once a player on the 40 man roster is "optioned" to the minors at any point during the year (even to begin the season), that player's option for that season is burned. Subsequent to that, he can be yo-yo'd as many times as is possible and not burn another option during that season.

Was Marmol on the 40-man by opening day or was he added when first called up?

Well, I just looked it up myself and he was added in November, which means his option was already burned at the conspiracy theory about hiding him on the DL to protect his option status doesn't hold up.

again I stand by my statement..Bynum sucks.

Gets pick off first..then Jones doubles. He would have scored the tying run.

JIM HENDRY STOP THROWING TRASH ON THE FIELD!

I think Bynum could be an ok player to have if Baker actually used him correctly. He's a 25th type guy for an emergency or pinch running but for some reason Baker will trot him out there way more than he should.

Why does this sound so familar?

Because Mr. Hendry likes too many 25th type players and Baker plays them too much? Sad isn't it?

I'm gonna bump this thread since so many gave me crap for

bashing Bynum.

This guy might be worse than Neifi.

His 2nd baserunning mistake in the past week, he doesn't properly judge a Lee single, and fails to score from 2nd base, the go ahead run.

Freddie Bynum. You are a bum.
