It's clear that while this dual/Tri destroyer lineup might not get our most talented 11 on the field, it gives our best player the most cover, freedom to do his thing and space which is probably the best plan. Bradley looks great doing whatever he wants.

Looked really good today. Strong on offense and defense. The weakness came at the end with subs -- not very worrying. Bedoya needs to execute those crosses and passes. He's getting into space and making good decisions, but they are just off coming in.

 

Both teams were careful not to go in too hard, as well, being cautious of injury. I thought that probably benefited Nigeria -- Dempsey pulled out of a drive on the keeper. Likewise, Jones and Beckerman had a couple of chances they didn't go down for which led to runs/corners.
