It's a great sign that we can win a game like that with a lot of our guys being just a touch off. Clint played well but should have probably scored twice, and it seemed like a lot of guys were a half step/half touch off all night. 9 points in 3 games is a fantastic job done.

I know it was only against two teams that are barely WC caliber, if that, but the most exciting thing for me was starting to see what we hoped to see from Klinsmann in terms of style of play. Running with the ball into empty space, maintaining possession, decisive forward passes and lots of dangerous chances.

The other interesting point I saw is that this is (I think) the longest camp we've had under Klinsmann. It really gave them a chance to get some cohesion and the results speak for themselves. Makes me excited that they can replicate that level of play next June, even if they struggle in some of the final qualifiers after an extended layoff and fractured final 4 games.

I'm excited to see what they will look like with Landon back in the fold. I've been critical in Zusi. His 2nd half made me feel a lot better. The backline still has some work to do in developing consistency.

This is also the first consistent display of width in the attack since...2002?

I'm torn on Mexico here at the Confed Cup. Them doing well reflects well for CONCACAF on the world stage, and likely will have them retain their coach.

But still...it's Mexico. I can't help but laugh at Brazil dismantling them.

Of course, since I said that, Mexico has actually controlled play pretty well and kept it in the offensive zone.

Being eliminated from the Confederations Cup is good practice for Mexico in World Cup qualifying

Over/Under on Spain goals vs Tahiti at 7, what do you take?

Over.

Over/Under on Spain's possession at 85%, what do you take?

I told my dad I thought Spain was going to have 100% possession vs Tahiti. So, I'll take the over.

Wambach breaks Mia's goal record by scoring 4 times in the first half. Nice way to do that.

South Korea barely showed up.
