I'm surprised Spurs even got to extra time today without Bale, Lennon and Defoe (the announcers also threw Gallas into this group, which I thought was hilarious). Having both Adebayor and Holtby out there meant Tottenham had two black holes. Once Vertonghen was red carded, I knew Tottenham was in trouble. They weren't scoring and I really only had faith in Clint and Gylfi to make their PKs. I knew Adebayor was going to [expletive] it up and I had no idea who else was going to take one.

 

Oh well. They've got 10 days off before playing Man City on April 21. All focus on finishing fourth now. I can only hope fixture congestion catches up with Chelsea or Arsenal gags over the last few weeks.

Apparently the FA said Aguero will not be suspended for this. I'm not sure how they can look at the video and not give him a three-game ban but they did.

That's unbelievable. The only was this happens is if Chris Foy says he saw it in his match report, and if he did, that a-hole should be banned, because seeing that and not at the least showing a yellow is nuts.

 

In related news, Alan Gordon is going to get a 3 match ban for the gay slur he leveled at Will Johnson.
