And Spurs win a game that they usually find a way to blow 5-3. Awesome.

 

That was a fun and nerve racking game. I thought Man U was going to at least get a draw once they got it to 3-2. Two goals in three minutes and they had all the momentum. I was very happy to see Tottenham keep them off the scoreboard the last 35. Very impressed.

 

Thought they played very well in the first half and definitely deserved to lead. Also happy to see Clint get his first goal.

The 5 minute stretch there that went Nani goal/Clint goal/Kagawa goal/Rooney post was nuts.

 

I usually put the Saturday afternoon live games on and do some household stuff at the same time.

I had to sit down for that stretch though; that was highly entertaining.

Good article, and Jozy is saying all the right thing. It's hard to argue with his results and would be awesome to see him lead the league in goals this year.

Despite playing today and scoring his 13th goal in 13 games for Aarhus, Aron Johansson has pulled out of iceland's world cup qualifier squad due to "lingering groin issues."

Think we're trying to poach him. He was born in Alabama.

He'll get there. The header was poor, but he had a nice assist and looks to be an important part for Spurs so far. Tactically, AVB is using him in very interesting ways.

 

Hopefully he'll get back on the scoring track with a big week for us next week.

I mean, I like Klinsmann, and if you're going to send a message over games that matter then I guess these two opponents make sense. And Jozy wasn't even starting in the last qualifiers, but still. Qualification is still in the air, and Jozy is raining goals on the Netherlands. Figure it out.

I'm a Liverpool fan and it's perfectly fine with me. How is anyone, without the benefit of replay, supposed to know if you were actually fouled when you flop around like that without being fouled? It's hurting the team too, because legitimate penalties aren't called because no one can trust a boy who cries wolf.
