Newcastle and Tottenham are not happy at all right now.

Neither is Anderlecht.

Because if Chelsea win the CL, they will have to play two preliminary rounds instead of going straight to the group stages of the 2012-2013 CL.

Great start to the game. Real scores twice in the first 14 minutes (a weak penalty led to the first goal) but Bayern just converted a PK of their own and it's 2-1 Real in the game and 3-3 on aggregate in the 29th minute.

Pretty open game so far as Bayern is doing their fair share of attacking. They're certainly not bunkering in like Chelsea did.

Hmmm...it's 109 minutes into this crucial game and we need a spark. Gee...sure would be nice to have a world class striker with fresh legs to put in.

OH WAIT.

Always nice to have an Higuain laying around.

Neuer coming up huge in the shootout, saving each of the first two Real kicks.

EDIT: And now Casillas saves two in a row.

If Chelsea finishes fifth or sixth in the EPL, Bayern better get it done in the final.

I wonder what the odds of both Barca and Real not advancing were. Holy [expletive], and Chelsea will be out Terry, Miereles, Ramirez, and Ivanovic. Bayern get a home game for the final.

I wonder what they were when both were up 2-0. That's what I'm pretty shocked about.

Both lost the first leg so it wasn't going to be easy but when each went up 2-0 (especially so for Barcelona after Terry got sent off), I figured they were going to roll since Bayern/Chelsea had to open things up and try to score.

I just remember that Chelsea are in the FA Cup Final too. WTF.

Surprised on Pep, curious to see him with a less talented team. I would do a Pep for Wenger trade off.

Chelsea will likely have to win the Champions League to get into the competition next year. They lost at home to Newcastle 2-0 on a pair of great goals (the second in particular) by Cisse and Tottenham beat Bolton 4-1. So with two games left, Chelsea is four points back of both of those clubs and five back of Arsenal.

Elsewhere, Messi scored three times today to set the record for most goals in a season with 68.

EDIT: Highlights of Newcastle:

Cisse has to be the move of the year for any team. His 2nd today was just stupid.

Liverpool and Bayern wins would be glorious over the next two weeks.

The swerve on that shot is absurd.

The original trajectory of that shot has it going well wide of the near post and it barely makes it inside the far post.

The parade of summer cash grabs are being scheduled.

Chelsea v AC Milan in Miami and Real Madrid v AC Milan in Vegas. Considering these are just cash grabs for the teams and unofficial party trips for players, these dudes are going to make those entire stadiums smell like vodka sweat. It's going to be hell in the dead of summer in both of those venues. I may have to get to that Vegas game. It'll be what, 95 with 100% humidity in Miami and 110 in Vegas? Yeah, guys who aren't in game shape, go run for 90 minutes straight. That'll be good.

I feel like these organizers just know that these games are in "America" and that depending on location, that can be a 40 degree swing in temperature.

That will feel like home to Real (except for the humidity)
