So will ManU even be playing in Europe next season? Tottenham have certainly passed them and Liverpool appear to be in this for the long haul.

I'll say no. Moyes is overmatched, that midfield is really bad and the good skill players he has, he either doesn't use (Kagawa) or misuses (Kagawa).

10 penalties taken, 3 went in. Lol.

Jozy didn't get to take. They clearly have a ton of confidence in him.

On the bright side for United, they signed Mata for 37mil pounds.

3 out of 10 for those two teams is horrible.

I was hoping Chelsea would hold out for more money like they wanted. ManU missing out on all of Europe next season would be awesome. Mata won't matter though it RVP and Rooney can't get healthy.

Mata is exactly what that midfield needed.

Is that the first we've heard that Jurgen has called him? I know he was on their radar, but actual contact before he's even a citizen?

I thought someone with the USMNT had spoken with him before. Its on Fox Sports 1 live today.

Sporting Kansas City has turned down a $1 million bid from Italian giant Juventus for 16-year-old defender Erik Palmer-Brown, a source with knowledge of the offer told SI.com.

[expletive].

They probably think they can get more than $1m by holding onto him and selling him in a couple years when he's developed further.

Absolutely. I'd just rather Juve develop him than KC, as much respect as I have for Vermes and his organization, but there I go again putting country over club.

True. Although a minor silver lining for country would be him training with Besler and having some early familiarity with what it takes to be an NT caliber player.

I'll say this, it's exciting as hell that within 5 years of the academy system's inception, we're producing million dollar targets for the likes of Juve. We always guessed that the reason we've never produced world class talent is because our lack of professional youth development but it's nice to see tha proving out and being changed.

Rumors that this is happening now but he's on loan to KC until his 18th because of work permit reasons. We'll see as it develops.

5th round FA Cup:

Chelsea at City

Liverpool at Arsenal

And Southhampton at Sunderland.

Would be pretty amazing if they make a run at the FA Cup as well.

Posted

Also Everton-Swansea.

When pretty much none of the EPL teams face each other in one round and then they all win, this is what happens in the next round.
