Luis Suarez's reaction to the non-PK call when Chamberlain ran into him reminded me of this.

I think what they said during the match was correct. Because of his over the top reaction, Webb thought he didn't actually get fouled and didn't give him the call.

I want to like Suarez as a player because he's so good but he's such a douchebag on the field at times.

Ozil misses a penalty in the 8th minute, can't do that against Bayern. Really wish Wenger bought another forward in the last window, Sanogo gets the start with Giroud and Podolski on the bench.

Szczesny gets red carded and gives up a PK which Bayern misses. Need to hold on here to have any hope. If they can lose only 1-0 at worst going into the second leg, they'll have a shot. I expect Bayern to get at least two however.

The Ozil penalty was a terrible shot also.

Arsenal are going to bunker down now for 50 minutes, I don't like those chances.

Deja vu from yesterday with the late goal.

The four home teams each lost the first leg of their UCL ties and by a combined score of 9-0.

Sunderland had zero interest in even playing today. Completely saving themselves for the Capital One final. Hope it works vs City. Arsenal controlled about 70% of the play and walked all over them. Jozy back to being left on an island.

Congrats to Liverpool on making the Champions League next year.

Another predictable post-Europa League poor performance from Spurs today.

Notables in Bold:

GOALKEEPERS: Cody Cropper (Southampton), Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Tim Howard (Everton)

DEFENDERS: John Brooks (Hertha Berlin), Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Edgar Castillo (Club Tijuana), Alfredo Morales (Ingolstadt), Oguchi Onyewu (Sheffield Wednesday), Will Packwood (Birmingham City), Tim Ream (Bolton Wanderers)

MIDFIELDERS: Alejandro Bedoya (Nantes), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Mix Diskerud (Rosenborg), Fabian Johnson (Hoffenheim), Jermaine Jones (Besiktas), Sacha Kljestan (Anderlecht), Brek Shea (Barnsley), Danny Williams (Reading)

FORWARDS: Juan Agudelo (Utrecht), Jozy Altidore (Sunderland), Terrence Boyd (Rapid Vienna), Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders FC), Julian Green (Bayern Munich), Aron Johannsson (AZ Alkmaar)

Cody Cropper is young. Be interesting to see him more because I don't think Sean Johnson or Bill Hamid will ever be much. Tim Ream as a defender even though he's been a d mid at Bolton means he's looking for LB's not named DeMarcus Beasley and obviously Julian Green as we've discussed.

Lots of good, dynamic and young forwards. Lots of fringe dudes that won't beat out their MLS counterparts like Danny Williams, Packwood, Gooch and Alfredo Morales. Hope Brooks gets to play having just come back from injuries. Need to see more of him.
