The rankings make no sense. I'm totally expecting us to get drawn with Netherlands/Italy and Ghana/Ivory Coast, mainly because of how the pots are likely to be formed.

 

I'm assuming we'll have:

 

Pot 1: Seeds

Pot 2: UEFA

Pot 3: CONCACAF (3), AFC (4), OFC/CONCACAF playoff (1)

Pot 4: CONMEBOL (2), CAF (5), extra UEFA (1).

 

I'm guessing the only way it might be different is if Uruguay loses to Jordan. I don't know how they'd do it because we'd have 5 AFC, 5 CAF, 3.5 CONCACAF, 0.5 OFC and 2 CONMEBOL, and we'd have to hope they put us in the same pot as CAF.

So, worst case might be something like Spain-Netherlands/Italy-Chile, and best case might be something like Switzerland-Iceland-Australia.
