If Mexico isn't taking New Zealand seriously, El Tri should ask Italy, Paraguay & Slovakia, none of which could beat NZ at World Cup 2010.

Aaron Ramsey has turned into Gareth Bale this season. I really like having Ozil and Cazorla on the field together.

He's less athletic, but a much more complete player. Not saying he's as valuable to a team like Madrid, but he's a club cornerstone to build on.

In 12 games AZ have a GD of +4. Hopefully they have the defense fixed.

Roma play great soccer. Man. DDR anchors a pivot point in front of the back 4, Bradley and Strootman make up the right and left points of the diamond and cover the most ground like prowling wolves, Pjanic is the tip of the diamond distributing to the forwards and the outside back get wide and high. The great possession and bottomless lungs of Bradley/Stroot give them liberty to get into the attack while DDR drops in between the CB's to make a defacto back 3. So disciplined.

Mexico must have some of the Cardinals pixie dust on the youth level as they make the finals again of the U17 beating Argentina 3-0, along with Brazil and Italy in the previous two rounds. Looks like they will face Nigeria who raped them 6-1 in the opening group match. Hope we will see more of the same in the finals.

Arsenal win at Dortmund, and there's still a good chance that 13 of the 16 UCL knockout round teams are from England, Germany, Spain and Italy (and then only that much because Group C has no countries from any of those associations in it).

Really happy with Arsenal pulling the road victory. Beating United this weekend would send a strong message, but City are the ones that really scare me. I think they have finally figured things out.

That guy is the Gregg Popovich of MLS. Coasts perfectly in the regular season and then locks down his team's D in the playoffs and gets them in position to win trophies. Every. Single. Year.

 

I'm tired of it, frankly. I hope KC finally beats them so we can get some decent soccer in the final. RSL v KC would be great. Portland v KC would be great. Really anything other than stupid Galaxy v Dynamo is all I'm asking for. I can't take another 2-0 Galaxy win with two perfect counter attack goals from LD and Keane.
